In the past two years, the medieval cloth hall of Dendermonde was thoroughly renovated. The result is a modern tourism office and visitor centre in a marvelous ancient building.

Come explore the place during the Access Day weekend! The visitor centre will take you back to the middle-ages when Dendermonde was a prosperous commercial centre, to the martyred city it became in the First World War and to the era of painstaking rebuilding afterwards.

You are very welcome between 12 and 4.30pm (new opening hours).
