War in short pants
How was it for a child to live in the time of World War I? Seven people from seven countries tell their childhood memories of the era in the exhibition War in short pants: how the big world entered their classroom, living room, play field and village.
The location of this exhibition is the old Saint Peters Abbey. Much attention has been spent on making the old buildings accessible for everybody.
After the impressive experience, you are welcome to relax in the southern abbey garden, where you can find the Pietersbar. Several people with a disability work in the bar.
For Access Day, they treat every patron a piece of cake, after visiting the exhibition.
