De Averegten Provincial Domain
100 ha woods with 3 signposted footpaths. The "Averpad" is paved and wheelchair-friendly. Leashed dogs are allowed on the red footpath. Farm animals, a botanic garden with indigenous wild plants, playing woods, a beehive hall, a log cabin for nature education activities, playground and playing fields. The "Het Boshuis" Tavern is located next to a fantastic playground.

There are various paths, of which the green route (3.5 km) was created especially to accommodate wheelchair users, baby buggies and joggers. This paved path remains easily navigable, even after it has rained. There are two disabled-friendly toilets in the log cabin. Additionally, several picnic tables have been adapted to enable wheelchair users to comfortably sit at them. The botanical garden is certainly worth a visit. The garden is easily accessible for wheelchairs. The dolomite-paved paths are easily navigable and have been provided with clear signs. Visitors can park at the botanical garden car park (Boonmarkt 12). This car park is located 50 m away from the Het Boshuis tavern. The tavern is easily accessible and open every day from 10 AM onwards during school holidays. Outside school holidays, it is open from Wednesday through Sunday. De Averegten is open to the public every day from sunrise to sunset. Dog on a leash are allowed on the red low.
