In "The comeback of Bruegel’s Mad Meg" one of Pieter Bruegel’s most famous paintings, 'Dulle Griet' (Mad Meg) will be shown in all details. Thanks to new research and a thorough restoration of Dulle Griet, this exhibition will further reveal hidden secrets about the mystery that surrounds Bruegel and his early work in Antwerp.

The exhibition is part of the year-round theme celebrating the life and work of Bruegel taking place in various locations in Antwerp, including Museum Mayer van den Bergh, Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Snijders&Rockox House and elsewhere in the city.

Opening planned: Autumn 2019
