For four days, the Brussels City Hall and the Grand-Place will be transformed into a garden of paradise in which visitors will be able to stroll surrounded by a thousand and one colours and fragrants. The majestic City Hall, which dates from the 15th Century, will be the star of this event and can be explored in a original way. Internationally renowned floral artists working for the Ghent Floraliën flower show will be decorating the various rooms with their original creations following the latest decorative floral trends. The leitmotiv of this exhibition is a reference to the colours of this historic decor which will serve as an inspiration for these artists.
The Grand-Place will be the backdrop to a garden of relaxation where visitors will be able to stroll across a forest of majestic bay trees, a type of vegetation which is ideal for the embellishment of pavements, porches and urban balconies. Thanks to this subtle reference to urban greenery and to the Soignes Forest, lovers of the great outdoors will be led instinctively to the heart of this florid and flourishing festival.
