    Cycling Legend Mr Johan Museeuw will present the Flandrien Challenge: cyclists have 72 hours to complete 59 Strava segments across the famed Flemish bergs and cobbles. The name of successful cyclists will be engraved on a stone exhibited on the "wall of fame" at the Centrum Ronde Van Vlaanderen in Oudenaarde.

    Following the philosophy of Flanders Travel to Tomorrow strategy, local inhabitants and entrepreneurs have co-created immersive experiences to bring visitors and locals together. Simon and Lee will present these new experiences which will be available in Passchendaele, Poperinge and Ypres.

    2021 will be an exciting year for experiencing contemporary art and cultural events in Flanders (with many festivals in the open air!). This presentation will focus on two highlights:  the Triënnial in Bruges and Beaufort at the coast. Furthermore, we will introduce Leuven`s Big Bang city festival and the Europalia programme which fits within both our Travel to Tomorrow philosophy and the year of European rail in 2021.

    This webinar provides a brief overview of the highlights of the newly developed ‘Gardens and Parks’ brochure. Tania de Roeck will showcase the recent renovations at the Botanic Garden of Meise, a garden comprising 92 hectares with historic buildings, including a castle.

    A visit to Ostend presents the best opportunity to really get to understand the art of its most famous surrealist artist, James Ensor. The house he worked and lived in from 1917 until his death has been perfectly preserved and recently expanded.  It houses a state-of-the-art interactive experience centre, alongside authentic furniture, life-size replica paintings, and insights into the fantastic world of this prolific artist.
