The Giant of Horebeke is a restored windmill in Sint Kornelis Horebeke,in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes known by cyclists because of the Tour of Flanders. They pass every year nearby.Inside it's sober and soothing but with all modern comfort.There is 1 double on the 1'st and 3 beds on the 2nd floor. The kitchen is equipped with a 6-pit Smegstove,microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.On the ground floor there is a lounge and dining area,a shower and toilet. Ecological and sustainable materials were used when possible.The quilts are made of organic cotton and Alpaca wool.TV and internet are available. The garden of 13 a has a fully shielded hedge, a terrace with BBQ and furniture.The region is known for its panoramic views, wide meadows, a large number of water - and windmills, but also for Korsele with its Protestant community and the old graveyard with its 150 year old weeping beech and memorial of William I.
