Designed by Swedish architect Andreas Bozarth Fornell, whose notable projects include stores for Roland Mouret and Acne Studios, the Christian Wijnants store layout and composition corresponds to the dense material research found in his collections. Based on the contrasting theme of "Natural/Artificial", the space features a harmony of opposing wall surfaces in materials such as concrete and fiberglass. The interior is framed by a verdant garden alcove designed by landscape designers Bart Haverkamp and Pieter Croes.

Christian Wijnants Antwerp opens from today, housing the Autumn Winter 2015 collection. The season is inspired by the spontaneous and organic elegance found in Jackie Nickerson's photographic documentation of African agriculture, a reference that vibrates throughout the collection in upbeat, graphic forms and Wijnants' signature artisanal knitwear. The store is open from Monday until Saturday, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm.
One month after the store opening Christian Wijnants will launch an online store where an even larger public can shop the collection.
