The world is going through difficult times because of the COVID-19 virus. The same goes for Flanders. As in the rest of Europe, the Belgian government has taken measures. You can find the latest updates here.

Until 19th April 2020, Flanders’ museums, concert halls, cultural institutions, restaurants and bars will be closed. All cultural and sporting events are cancelled until further notice. All non-essential shops closed except those that sell food and essential provisions. Shoppers will be asked to keep an acceptable social distance from one another.

Locals and visitors are required to stay at their place of residence. Non-essential trips are forbidden other than sporting activities, subject to a limit of two persons. Social gatherings are strictly forbidden and social distancing is key at this time.
