By air:
The nearest airports are Brussels Airport and Charleroi Airport.
By train:
There are high-speed trains from Paris, London, and Amsterdam to Brussels and Lille.
By car:
There are motorways from Brussels, Ghent, Bruges, and the coast to Flanders Fields. There are also motorways from France to Flanders Fields.
By Ferry:

Travelling To Flanders Fields
Visitors can reach Flanders Fields by car, train or organized coach tours.
To Flanders Fields by car:
The easiest way to travel to Flanders Fields is by Car. If visitors do not have their own transport, a car can be rented from the major as well as from local car rental companies which have branches in Brussels, Bruges and elsewhere in and around Flanders. To Flanders Fields by train:
It is possible to travel by train to Ypres from every city in Flanders. This will generally require a change of train in Kortrijk. Seat reservation is not required, train tickets can be purchased at the railway station before departure. More information about travelling by train.
To Flanders Fields by coach:
Half or full day organised coach tours are offered to and in Flanders Fields, incorporating the main sites and the Last Post ceremony.
Visiting Flanders Fields
Some of the cemeteries, visitor centres and other sites in the Westhoek are difficult to reach by public transport. For this reason, if visitors do not have their own transport, we recommend booking an organised tour or renting a bicycle.
