A trip to Belgium wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Brussels’ Grand Place to take in the wonder of this beautiful cobblestone square. This remarkable landmark features the opulent City Hall from the 1400’s, the impressive Breadhouse, which houses the city’s museum, and numerous gorgeous guildhalls oozing former wealth and glory. Most of the buildings are from the late 17th century, re-built after a bombing in 1695, which helped create a more appealing, unified aesthetic.
