Lovers of Art Nouveau find themselves enamoured the moment they arrive at the home of Belgian architect Victor Horta (1861-1947). Now the Horta Museum, it showcases his home and studio where from doorways to bed frames, the interior decoration has been retained. On the UNESCO World Heritage List, the many items on display including mosaics, stained glass, and furniture are testaments to Horta’s pioneering vision in the style.
