Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula (Sint-Michiels- en Sint-Goedelekathedraal)
What started as a small chapel in the 9th century, became a Romanesque church in the 11th century, and from there, this hilltop church was built up over the course of 300 years. Built of local stone in Brabant Gothic style, it’s the host of weddings and funerals of notable Belgian society. Its 49-bell carillon can be heard from afar on Sundays.
