Dear Friend of Flanders,

In view of the COVID-19-situation, specific safety measures and additional restrictions are currently in place across Belgium. You will find more detailed information on following website. For the latest travel advice to our country, please consult your local authorities.

If you are travelling to Flanders, Brussels or elsewhere in Belgium for a duration of 48 hours or more, you will need to complete a Passenger Locator Form, within the 48 hours before your arrival in Belgium.

Take good care of yourself and each other and keep it safe and healthy.

We hope to welcome you again soon, with twice the heart, love and hospitality.

Warm regards,

Visitors’ centre in the historic city hall and the opening to the public of the Belfry. In 1914 the Great War destroyed the Medieval city centre of Termonde. Like many other buildings the 14th century city hall and belfry were consumed by flames. In 2014 a new visitors’ centre in the reconstructed city hall and belfry, today classified as UNESCO world heritage, will allow visitors to explore these remarkable historical events of the cities past and to experience the impact the war had on its cultural heritage and people. The renovated tourist office in the historic city hall will offer visitors a first class view of what the region has to offer.
