Passchendaele Ceremony at Crest Farm Canadian Memorial Zonnebeke (6 pm)

10 November 1917 marks the day that Canadian troops ended the Battle of Passchendaele by capturing the ruins of the village. Together with the Canadian Government, the Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 and the Municipality of Zonnebeke organize a ceremony starting with a subdued reflection at the Crest Farm Canadian Memorial followed by a torch parade through the Canadalaan. The parade follows the path of the last hundred meters of the attack and ends at Passchendaele church.
Maximum 100 people can attend the ceremony. There will be no open air reception and cultural activity.

10.30 am Ceremony at the Belgian War Memorial, Coomansstraat Ypres
11 am Special Last Post at the Menin Gate, Ypres. (access only on invitation). Will be livestreamed (follow our Facebookpage @FlandersFields1418 for more details)
5 pm Concert The Great War Remembered in the Sint-Maartenskathedral (canceled in 2020 due to Covid)
8 pm Last Post at the Menin Gate, Ypres with VIPs.
