A number of ceremonies will take place on this day in order to commemorate the members of the different communities involved: - National Remembrance Dawn Ceremony New Zealand (8:00 am)- Remembrance Ceremony Australia (10:30 am)- National Remembrance Ceremony Ireland and UK (2 pm) and closing ceremony Ireland and UK with special attention for the Irish soldiers Redmond and Meeke. Major Redmond MP was carried off the battlefield by the protestant soldier Meeke. - 4 P.M. Closing Ireland, Northern Ireland & UK Ceremony – Wytschaete Military Cemetery in Wijtschate - 7:30 PM New Zealand evening ceremony – Messines Ridge Cemetery in Mesen Location: Messines and Heuvelland.
