Chef Stefaan Coutteneye is one of the pioneers of beer gastronomy. His beer dishes, for whichhe mainly uses beers from Belgium's Westhoek region, are praised far and wide. He has already written several books about food pairing and was recently inducted in the Order of the 33 Master Chefs of Belgium. His restaurant, in the poetic village of Watou, is a favourite destination for beer and food aficionados who enjoy delicious, honest, affordable food, made with beers from the region of Poperinge.Opening times: Closed Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Wednesday, Thursday evening.
