A sea of purple at Kalmthoutse Heide in Flanders 💜🌿 From mid-August to mid-September, the purple heather transforms Kalmthoutse Heide into one of Belgium’s most beautiful natural landscapes. The 12.4 km Flanders’ Finest Hiking Route winds through sand dunes, open heathland and grazing sheep, with breathtaking views from two lookout towers.
