National Park Forests of Brabant

National Park Forests of Brabant connects the oldest forests in Flanders. Featuring the forests of Hallerbos, Sonian Forest and Meerdaalwoud, it forms a green lung between the cultural cities of Halle, Brussels and Leuven. The rich history of the landscape unfolds in steep slopes and sunken roads, providing a sanctuary for stag beetles. When the sunlight streams through the crowns of the beech cathedral, you experience the same grandeur that attracted kings and dukes. Impressive sites such as Beersel Castle watch over the majestic natural heritage.

Boundless Bocageland

In Boundless Bocageland, three geographical regions come together: the Flemish Voerstreek, the Walloon Land of Herve and Dutch Heuvelland. The area forms a green heart in the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion. Looking down at the Landscape Park from above, you would see an area just like a patchwork. Sunken roads, rows of trees, hedges and stream valleys all connect the pieces of landscape. It is these linear elements that give the area its name: 'Bocageland'.

Landscape Park of Haspengouw

Landscape Park of Haspengouw - in southern Limburg - there's a place where nature, culture and history are combined in a breathtaking setting. Discover rolling hills, vast orchards and charming villages that give the region its personality. Here, you can hike or cycle through ancient landscapes, enjoy seasonal splendour and get a flavour of local craftsmanship. Hoge Kempen National Park

The Hoge Kempen National Park is a robust area with more than 12,000 hectares of outstanding nature. A place to enjoy the most beautiful panorama of Flanders and be surprised by the extraordinary landscapes: purple heather, golden dunes, endless forests and magnificent fens. The slag heaps and pithead hoists are a typical sight on the horizon and recall the mining days of Belgian Limburg. The park gates each tell their own story. Whether you come hiking or cycling, to mountain bike, horse ride or play: in the Hoge Kempen there's something for everyone!

Meuse Valley River Park

The area's greatest attraction? That's the Meuse River. It flows through the landscape like a powerful blue vein. With the Meuse as your guide, you're unlikely to get lost in the valley. In fact, water is always nearby in this Landscape Park. You walk along ancient gullies, castle estates and special heritage spots in the winding string of Meuse villages. On the banks of the river, you will find quiet spots where you can sit down with a picnic basket bursting with goodies.

Landscape Park Flemish Ardennes

Between the lively cities of Lille, Ghent and Brussels lies a tranquil landscape of rolling hills: Landscape Park Flemish Ardennes.
